Reverse Auction - Auction and Shopping Entertainment
What the heck is a reverse auction?! What is ZapADeal?

Read about it here or listen to this brief presention!

ZapADeal is a new venture built upon a proven concept. It provides shopping and auction entertainment, and an income opportunity for those who wish to participate in its network marketing strategy. You can view the ZapADeal site now, but it is not open to the public just yet. We are still in "by invitation only" mode for a few more weeks, then it will be open to the general public. However, you are invited to sign on with Mercury Consulting Group now before we do open it up to the public, but you will need to contact us to receive a leadership code to unlock the site should you wish to particpate at an executive compensated level.

So What is Unique About ZapADeal and Reverse Auctions?

This is a relatively new auction platform that has come on the scene, it is called the “reverse auction” or “reverse bid auction.” Unlike the standard online auction this adds a new wrinkle to the already popular online auction. What is the difference? With a reverse auction the price of a product or service goes DOWN, NOT UP as more bids come in. Because of this unique approach participants have the opportunity to purchase quality brand name products or services for only the cost of what they bid plus NOTHING.

How does it work?

Let’s say the service lists a car for auction. You could get a brand new car (the service is currently offering a 2008 Toyota Highlander SUV Hybrid) for only two or three bids (or possibly only one bid if you hit it right). The best service we have seen costs .70 to as low as .50 cents to place a bid. So that would be a cost of $2 or less on your end for 3 or 4 bids. (You can bid more if you wish). With each bid a portion is applied to the price of the product eventually driving it down to zero. Because the company collects hundreds and sometimes thousands of bids it makes more then enough to cover its cost for the product (as well as pay those who help promote the service) simply because there is only ONE winner among SEVERAL hundreds or possibly thousands of bidders. This arrangement is a win-win scenario for all concerned.

The company sets up the bidding so they collect enough to cover their cost plus some and the last bidder winds up with the car for only the cost of his or her bids. That could be as little at .50 cents for one bid or $50 for several bids! For those who didn’t “win” the auction they may have spend $3 or $4 in bids (completely depending on how many bids they make) and still had fun “playing.”

Several other products and services are offered, such as insurance, cleaning your home, a certificate to pay $750 towards any of your bills, a one ounce Canadian Maple leaf gold coin, with many others services to be added as the business expands.

With EBay doing 900,000,000 transactions on their standard auction format last year alone (yes that's 900 MILLION) and no sign of letting up (even with a deteriorating economy) you KNOW internet auctions are here to stay.

What is unique about the reverse auction is it combines the appeal of acquiring exceptional products and services at ridiculous discounts with the added excitement of "winning the prize." How clever is that?! Keep your eyes on this. It is sure to be a "home run." As the economy continues to slow down the reverse auction should only become more popular. Maybe even bigger then eBay!?!

P.S. If you are interested in helping promote this service there is a business side to this as well. Imagine being one of the early partners of EBay. Could this do as well? Take a closer look and decide for yourself.  Just tell us you wish to know more about the business side of this unusual service at the address above.  Happy hunting.
